Terms and conditions for Clarks Village ‘Pawsome Pooch’ competition 2024
This Pawsome Pooch competition (the ‘Competition’) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions (‘Conditions’) and by entering the Competition you agree to be bound by them.

 

  1. By entering the Competition, you warrant to Clarks Village / Landsec that all information submitted by you regarding yourself and your competition entry (‘Entry’) is true and accurate and complete in every respect. Clarks Village / Landsec reserves the right to verify any information provided in connection with your Entry.
  2. All Entries must be received between 11am on Saturday 7 th September 2024 and 8pm on Sunday 8 th September 2024.
  3. The competition is not open to residents outside of the UK.
  4. The photograph should be of your dog(s) and not that of another owner’s dog.
  5. Entry is free.
  6. All entrants into the competition must be 18 years or older.
  7. Clarks Village reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it believes that an entrant has breached any of the Conditions. 
  8. Entries can be submitted via three different ways. 1. Prebookable appointments via the Eventbrite booking page. 2. Onsite at Clarks Village during the event opening times with a roaming photographer. 3. Via Instagram using the hashtag #CVPawsomePooch. Entrants are permitted to one competition entry per dog only.
  9. Shortlisted entries will be selected and notified w/c 9 th September 2024, by email.
  10. The shortlisted images will be selected by the Clarks Village judges, whose decisions are final, and will be released to the public to cast their vote via social media. The public will be invited to vote for their winner by commenting on posts featured across Clarks Village’s Facebook and Instagram pages. Votes will be totalled up by the Clarks Village judges. If for any reason the votes result in a draw between entries, the Clarks Village judges will hold a casting vote and select the final winner.
  11. The winner of the Competition will be notified of the result w/c 16 th September 2024. The winner must respond within 48 hours of the email notification to claim the prize. Failure to do so will result in the forfeit of the Prize and an alternative winner (the shortlisted entry with the second highest number of votes) will be awarded.
  12. The winner will also receive a paw-tastic prize. There is no cash alternative to the prizes stated and the prizes are not transferable, and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions. The prize must be collected by the winner from Clarks Village.
  13. The winner agrees to publicity about winning the competition, including their name being published on our website, on our social media channels and through a press release.
  14. Clarks Village accepts no responsibility for Entries lost, damaged or delayed whether due to transmission errors, website malfunction, computer error or otherwise.
  15. By submitting an entry in the Competition, you grant Clarks Village a non-exclusive royalty-free worldwide commercial licence unlimited in time, to use the Entry in all formats and in any medium of communication (in print or digital formats, including on social media), and for all promotional purposes which Clarks Village shall consider appropriate.
  16. If voted the winner of the Competition, you agree to attend Clarks Village with your dog for future photoshoots if required. These will be capped to a maximum of five photoshoots to be taken within one year of the Competition close date.
  17. Any personal information relating to entrants will be used by Clarks Village in accordance with data protection legislation in force in England.
  18. All Competition entrants unconditionally agree to the use of their name, and disclosure of their county of residence in connection with any Entry which is published in any form in any media.
  19. Clarks Village reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without notice.
